Gardner Denver style filter breather for oil sumps. Mushroom style design manufactured out of steel with 1/2" NPT connection. The breather vent allows the oil sump to "breathe" or relieve air pressure that is generated from for temperature changes during the operation of your PD blower.

Filter breathers main purpose is to vent or relieve pressures that can be created in an oil reservoir which can be created by temperature changes. Filter breathers incorporate a filter type material to help  prevent the intrusion of foreign material into the oil sump.
