1. Operating Liquid

4. Impeller Shaft

6. Suction Port
 

What Do These Liquid Ring Pump Parts Do? 

  
• When the impeller turns inside the liquid ring pump, the operating liquid is put into motion and accelerated.This forms a liquid ring.
 
• The liquid ring rotates centered along the housing, while the impeller is located concentrically. The remaining space between the impeller blades is varying along the rotation creating the suction chamber.
 
• The gas gets compressed and exhausted on the pressure side of the liquid ring pump.
 
• The heat of compression is absorbed by the operating liquid of the liquid ring pump.
