Spring-Loaded Pressure Relief Valves
Spring loaded pressure relief valves protect your PD blower from over pressurizing above the blowers maximum operating pressure. Spring loaded type valves are popular choice for most applications and they are sized according to the airflow and pressure. A spring is used to provide a force against a plate that prevents the air from escaping as long as it operates below the pressure set point of the valve. If the air pressure on the plate exceeds the spring setting , the valve opens allowing air to escape to prevent over-pressurization and potential failure of the blower.
